First of all, I just wanted to say that I had a very hard time getting into this story. I have a hard time reading books with the abuse of children, or one of devastating sadness and immediately this book posed those characteristics. The beginning of this book literally made me sick with it's content and I had a very hard time even finishing the book just knowing what was at the beginning. I have heard so many good reviews and comments about this book, but it was just not for me. I need something a bit more uplifting.In the beginning of the book, we learn about Sarah and how she is the product of an affair between her mother and a wealthy married man. Sarah's mother continues to be a mistress in exchange for provisions and a small house to live in. Sarah quickly learns that her father wants nothing to do with her, but even then she would go to the ends of the earth to earn his love. When Sarah is a young girl, her mother becomes ill and passes away. Sarah is left to fend for herself until a friend of her mother's sells her to a wealthy pedophile.This part of the story was highly disturbing to me and I had a hard time finishing the book. From what I have gathered from the remaining portion of the book, Sarah later becomes a prostitute under the name of Angel. She meets a man named Michael who loves her despite her shortcomings and what she has done in the past. He is very forgiving with her...almost too forgiving in that they really end up having no marriage at all.Even though this is a Christian romance novel, I would rate it as R. Meaning that I would definitely not want my girls reading this even once they are older and more mature. From other reviews I have read, I have gathered that the story is supposed to symbolize the story of Hosea in the Bible, but even the Bible does not go into such detail as this book. It was just a bit too much for me. Too much inappropriate content that I was not a fan of. I rate this book as 1 star.I received this book for free from Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing group in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion.
I read Redeeming Love based on my best friend's constant suggestion to do so. I rarely read anymore because I am too busy and know that if I start, I run the risk of not being able to put the book down if it is that good. But for some reason after my friend recently referred to the book's amazing character "Michael" during a conversation regarding the topic of marriages...I just went online and ordered it. It arrived on Sunday and I finished all 450+ pages by 7AM Tuesday morning. I thought the book was incredibly powerful.The [long] beginning is very challenging to get through (rough, tragic, disturbing) but I'm glad I stuck with it because I found myself---in the beginning the middle and end---weeping for the characters in the book and also weeping (in a good healing way) with how it made me look at my own marriage.The main characters are Michael, Angel, and God (though his subtle but main storyline is not introduced until Michael's is) . Based on reviews, a handful of readers missed the opportunity to see that Michael does not have to represent all men, and Angel all women. Some reviewers resented Angel being cast in such a horribly "submissive" position throughout. But first, these readers should remember this story takes place during the time of the goldrush when women were not treated equal and were in submissive positions...but second, readers should note that is not how God saw her. The storyline is not at all about women's rights but instead about God's love. The big point is that God will communicate to those [lucky people who listen for him] that He wants them----those who are still safely in the confines of his herd--- to stop at nothing to bring those who are not (those who are the lost sheep), back to him.Ironically, as it turned out, I identified more with Michael and his story...even though I am a woman. If you take this story only as a romance (as it is written), and don't realize that God's talking to / trying to reach these characters is a bigger storyline, then you miss the powerful message of this book.....that God's love is limitless and powerful...and unrelenting. He will never abandon you even when it may seem that way with certain trials you may endure. Redeeming Love conveyed just that, yet while gripping my attention the way any well-written captivating story would.
Tragic, historical, beautifully written story that will bring tears to your eyes and pull at your heart strings. This is a redone, biblical version of the story of Hosea but it's set in the 1800s Gold Rush California.This is not for the faint of heart. The story revolves around a young girl accidentally sold into prostitution and the trials she goes through to find love with the man who becomes her husband and God. There are implied scenes that will make you cringe and some graphic scenes that made my stomach pitch and roll. This is a relatively long story, 497 pages, so be prepared for the roller coaster of emotions. I'm not one for biblical books but the biblical portion here is not overwhelming at all. It's actually written so well, you'll find yourself wrapped up in the story instead.I highly recommend this as I have never been so moved by a book in my life. More than once I found myself screaming at the book, crying to myself and praying for a happy ending. Just make sure you set aside time to read where you won't be interrupted and bring tissues!!

WHY DIDN'T THEY SEND ME A MANUEL THAT EXPLAINS HOW TO DO EVERYTHING WHEN I BOUGHT THE KINDLE FIRE?
This briefly explains some features of the tablet, but leaves a lot of the basics unexplored. What I really needed was a troubleshooting guide, and this manual didn't address any of my issues. And since users manuals are necessary (especially with this device), why isn't the instruction manual free? It's almost as if they created problems so that you'd have to buy more and more manuals to address them.
This is my first fire tablet; I was hoping that this purchase would answer the questions and issues I'd inevitably face. There was not a single issue that this manual helped with, not one single item! Google is your friend.Part of me is irritated that I clicked purchace on an item that was priced on screen at $0.00; I was charged $0.99. There is small print to say that the advertised price was for 'kindle unlimited' customers. So I feel tricked, swindled, ripped off... It seems amazon is turning into one of those 'advertorials' that you find on the triple digit channels at 3am. Where there is 30-60 seconds of small print, that explains how they will rip you off. Amazon was not like this; I expect better.Back to the book. I skim read all of this and there is not a single item of any value between its covers. IF you have owned a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer ;) there is nothing here. Expect generic advice; platitudes and simple instructions for the simple minded.Go buy a coffee, it will be much more help than this book. If this had been free my review would not have changed, I just be a little less ornery!
I've had my new HD Kindle Fire 10.3 tablet for approx 3 months. This e-book is somewhat helpful but the Kindle Fire HD for Dummies book is excellent and goes into much more detail. The Fire tablets can do a lot more than I ever knew and I've had a 7" Fire tablet for at least 6 years. This is a good starter book,though. I did learn some helpful tips so it's ok for the money while you look for the Dummies book. BTW, I prefer hard copies over e-books for instructable manuals.

I carefully read the entire manual and it seems that about 30% of it appears to be advertising for Amazon. The remaining 70% is made up of items that a person would expect to be contained in the type of owner's manual, that is included with just about anything a person purchases, but not with the Amazon Kindle Fire product. I found the screen items that are shown in the manual are blurred and difficult to see. This manual will give you a few basic explanations of how some things are done, but far fewer than expected. I paid $0.99 plus tax for this manual. If you have family and/or friends that have Kindle Fire products, ask them how to do things. If you don't, consider this manual. But I wouldn't pay more than I paid for it.

I'm writing this review not from the perspective of an Airframe and Powerplant student, but rather from the perspective of a pilot. I found this book to be very informative and well worth reading to expand a pilots knowledge of engine operating techniques. While it's probably a bit beyond what is required, I can't stress enough to students and fellow pilots that the more they know about the heart of their airplane. The knowledge presented in this book is applicable to nearly all aircraft engines in operation, in fact I can't think of one that isn't really covered except a scram jet.
would be better if it had higher quality pictures, more color pictures, less page jumping for diagrams and pictures for examples.

I am an addict of productivity and self help/improvment books. I found Monique's approach to women's leadership to be different and refreshing. Rather than leaning in and adopting the 'boys' rules of the game, she focuses on embracing the feminine qualities and coming from a place of confidence and empowerment from within. The question becomes finding the balance of women's inner qualities and established rules of business.
This book is absolutely phenomenal for any woman trying to make an impact in the world. Each chapter has activities that help you get a better insight into your personality and help to bring out the leader within you. Monica does an excellent job at telling her story and experience but also brings in scientific studies to support her claims. I actually purchased the book for a college presentation and I am beyond ecstatic with my choice. Highly recommend.

She provides us with lots of research and anecdotes building the case for why more feminine leadership is necessary in the world how it's already happening and what we can do to move it forward.I think this book is most fit for women who are transitioning from a more modern, result-oriented worldview into a worldview that has room for other qualities as well. A post-modern worldview with values like authenticity, vulnerability, and intuition. The kind of things that for instance Brené Brown has been encouraging people to explore.What I like about the leading gracefully model is that it provides a balanced stance. She points out how important it is to cultivate embodied power and centered presence and that only with that and by practicing our courage can we be strong vessels for these more feminine traits, like intuition, collaboration, vulnerability, without falling into the pitfalls of those. If we manage to do that individually and collectively we'll be able to lead bigger and more complex changes together, because we we're all leaders together.So Monique shows us a different type of leadership that allows for the brilliance of others to shine, a more servant leadership if you will.One of the big inspirations in her book is the leadership Embodiment work by Wendy Palmer and I'd like to emphasize how important that is because it gives us the “how†of what to do with our body, posture and our breath to center ourselves, so we can deal with more challenging situations. This is a very valuable addition to any leadership practice. I'm an international teacher of leadership embodiment and in this practice I see how it helps both men and women to be a little bit less self-centered and a little more powerful, connected to themselves and others, and clear into what the next step is. It helps people to deal with pressures of work, and move themselves from stress to flow, so it's a very important foundation for anybody endeavoring to bring more feminine qualities into the world and the workplace and to lead gracefully. I find it a magnetizing vision.Personally I think we all, men and women, need more balanced leadership and personal development and I'm a little bit less of the mind that if only there were more women in power the world will be a better place. The writer agrees with that as she points out that if we don't collectively change the system and change the expectations, it won't work because we end up with women using only their masculine strengths which really aren't strength because they're inauthentic for most part.So we've got a job to do even though legally we have equal rights, we're not there yet. Let's inspire each other, let's encourage each other to be a little bit more courageous and graceful everyday. This book was freaking everything. I was so engrossing in it, I could not put it down. This book was so action pack it was like a movie. It was so good, I didn't even mind that the first sex scene was almost at then end of the book.Charae this book was amazing. You always do a good job but this was really great. Best series by far. This beat the Demao's in my eyes.Great job!
The shock to find out who set Kenzo up! I would have never guessed those two people were behind him almost being put away. I’m glad that Money let go of that stupid rule her gma put into place. Once she opened her heart and became in touch with her feminine side life seemed better, Money will still check you though. Good finale, but it got a little repetitive at the end.
This!! I dont even know where to start! This was the PERFECT finale ever! Charae writes so effortlessly and flawlessly. The way she constructs her storylines is just brilliant. I looovee me some Kenzo! Lawwd ham mercy!! I feel like I have a school girl crush, got me over here just giggling and laughing. Ive been team #KenMoney since part 1 and will forver be! Great series Charae! Team #KenMoney over and out!
I was not ready for this sequel to pop off like this. Book one ended with that heat and book 2 started right back with it. Money’s squad did not come to play, but it's still team Kenzo over here. The snakes were definitely slithering! Charae bodied this sequel, hands down. Loved it.
VERY good story! I love how her book series are always better or just as good as the first book. I'm glad Moolah got her self together before she lost that fine ass man, Kenzo!

First of all just like the Island 🌴 this book was everything. After that shot I didn’t think Kenzington was going to make a comeback but my boy showed up and showed tf out. I think that Money needed to get shot because it changed her for the better and although she was my girl in the beginning i am loving the new her. I didnt expect all the snakes ðŸ especially Raelyn, with her weak ass. Why I wanna hook up Mint and Bully though 😂. I enjoyed this duo and I’m so glad i didn’t have to wait too long for part two. Imma need a follow up on that baby girl 👧ðŸ¾. Well done Charae and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
