This book was freaking everything. I was so engrossing in it, I could not put it down. This book was so action pack it was like a movie. It was so good, I didn't even mind that the first sex scene was almost at then end of the book.Charae this book was amazing. You always do a good job but this was really great. Best series by far. This beat the Demao's in my eyes.Great job!
The shock to find out who set Kenzo up! I would have never guessed those two people were behind him almost being put away. I’m glad that Money let go of that stupid rule her gma put into place. Once she opened her heart and became in touch with her feminine side life seemed better, Money will still check you though. Good finale, but it got a little repetitive at the end.
This!! I dont even know where to start! This was the PERFECT finale ever! Charae writes so effortlessly and flawlessly. The way she constructs her storylines is just brilliant. I looovee me some Kenzo! Lawwd ham mercy!! I feel like I have a school girl crush, got me over here just giggling and laughing. Ive been team #KenMoney since part 1 and will forver be! Great series Charae! Team #KenMoney over and out!
I was not ready for this sequel to pop off like this. Book one ended with that heat and book 2 started right back with it. Money’s squad did not come to play, but it's still team Kenzo over here. The snakes were definitely slithering! Charae bodied this sequel, hands down. Loved it.
VERY good story! I love how her book series are always better or just as good as the first book. I'm glad Moolah got her self together before she lost that fine ass man, Kenzo!

First of all just like the Island 🌴 this book was everything. After that shot I didn’t think Kenzington was going to make a comeback but my boy showed up and showed tf out. I think that Money needed to get shot because it changed her for the better and although she was my girl in the beginning i am loving the new her. I didnt expect all the snakes ðŸ especially Raelyn, with her weak ass. Why I wanna hook up Mint and Bully though 😂. I enjoyed this duo and I’m so glad i didn’t have to wait too long for part two. Imma need a follow up on that baby girl 👧ðŸ¾. Well done Charae and I can’t wait to see what you come up with next.

About the AuthorsSheila and Jane have been colleagues and friends for… well, let’s just say a long time. As English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers, they worked together on lots of projects… and had lots of fun as they worked. A partnership was born! Together, Jane and Sheila have teaching credentials in several states and two continents. With years and years… and years… of experience (they just don’t want to count them all, ha!), they have taught ESL to little kids, big kids, university students, adults, company executives, and other teachers in the U.S. and Europe (both online and in regular classroom settings). Both Sheila and Jane have served as members of the New Jersey Department of Education Advisory Committee for ESL/Bilingual Education. They’ve facilitated online ESL training courses for teachers through the NJ DOE professional development program. Sheila has held several leadership positions scoring teacher candidate responses for an international testing company, and Jane has written ESL test questions and rated English as a Foreign Language exams for another internationally recognized testing company. (They teach, they test, they score!) They have won many awards for excellence in teaching, including two Teacher of the Year awards, and corporate citations for excellence. They’ve given numerous presentations and have written curriculum and syllabi for diverse ESL populations. Add to this some fun teaching projects in Spanish, public speaking, drama, writing… and, we’re not kidding, even soccer skills and you’ve got two writers who know how to have a good time writing a book! It is like a vocabulary work book. I expect this book as good as "English The American Way" which has many dialogues(listening and speaking parts). The contents are boring not much supports from research just definitions of words and personal narrations about its own topics. The audio track is also boring because the introduction voice is boring, and also not much dynamics. It should change the title to appropriate one not "Celebrate The American Way".
I teach ESL to private students through a relocation company, and my student loves this book and the other one we're using, English the American Way: A Fun ESL Guide to Language & Culture in the U.S. w/Audio CD & MP3 (English as a Second Language Series)I recommend both books!

This textbook is fantastic! There is a good mixture of cultural readings, idioms, and vocabulary which connects directly to contemporary American culture.
This book is wonderful for teaching ESL to students who already know English but want more practice and to know more about America. I prefer the way English the American Way is written with vocabulary words throughout the lesson and not all at the end.
A remarkably clever, intelligent, and engaging guide for the ESL student. Should be on the shelf with its equally valuable predecessor volume. Highly recommended for both ESL programs and the individual student.

Paul Washer's 55-page booklet, Ten Indictments Against the Modern Church, is a free Kindle download I picked up four years ago. It's actually a sermon he preached at a conference in Atlanta nearly a decade ago. Although I found the book to be a good read, I could see many Christians being offended by Washer's direct charges against the American church. Paul Washer was a missionary in Peru for ten years, and today he preaches passionately against false gospels. After a brief introduction, the Ten Indictments Against the Modern Church is organized in the following chapters:1. A Denial of the Sufficiency of Scripture2. An Ignorance of God3. A Failure to Address Man's Malady4. An Ignorance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ5. An Unbiblical Gospel Invitation6. An Ignorance Regarding the Nature of the Church7. A Lack of Compassionate Church Discipline8. A Silence on Separation9. A Replacement of the Scriptures Regarding the Family10. Pastors Malnourished in the Word of GodThe book concludes with a brief mention of Chapel Library Resources and 45 endnotes. Yes, its broad-brushed. Yes, there are times when it is a little too harsh. Yes, some details may be applied in different ways according to context. There's no doubt Paul Washer is an intense guy. But there is also no doubt to me that he has his finger on the pulse of the American church and he has found but a very faint heartbeat. Washer's ten indictments are nothing new and all of them may not apply to us or to our church situations but I urge Christian readers to give Washer's thoughts a fair hearing. I put Paul Washer in the category of men like Leonard Ravenhill and Keith Green, of preachers like AW Tozer and Vance Havner. What they said wasn't always just right, but it was always memorable and the part that was right had such a way of getting to the heart of things that you couldn't help but be moved. I am thankful for brother Washer and pray that I will take to heart the message of this book.
This is the kind of message the church needs. And it is so, because it is from the Bible, exclusively. Al Christians should be aware of the dangers of not having the Word of God as their rule of life. The sufficient Word is the place to know the person of Jesus and the way to properly worship Him. This is a strong message that is similar, in a sense, of Johnathan Edwards' 'Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God'. The church needs this message. We need such a message. I needed that message. A must read book!
Much like Ravenhill and Tozer, Paul Washer is not one to hold back. His book "Ten Indictments Against the Modern Church" is a great example. In this short book, you will find much to challenge you. I don't agree with every perspective Washer has, but honestly hearing the hard-hitting message is refreshing in a day where so much of Christian publishing seems very weak and overly consoling. Don't get me wrong, we do need comfort. But there are also times when we need to be shaken deeply.The 10 indictments are as follows:1. A denial of the sufficiency of Scripture2. An ignorance of God3. A failure to address man's malady4. An ignorance of the gospel of Jesus Christ5. An unbiblical gospel invitation6. An ignorance regarding the nature of the church7. A lack of compassionate church discipline8. A silence on separation9. A replacement of the scriptures regarding the family10. Pastors malnourished in the word of GodI do struggle some with books that are as hard-hitting as this one. There is always the danger of feeling like we are not doing enough and working our way into a legalistic, and even condemning, state of life. We are all called to different ways of living out our calling and life. Some are called to a more separate way of life, while others are not. Some can drop everything and become what we normally think of as a full-time minister (really we are all full-time ministers regardless of our occupation), but not all are called to that level of sacrifice. If not balanced with a firm understanding of grace, a book like this can cause people to struggle with condemnation rather than conviction, hence the four-star rating. Still, we could all use a little more reading that makes us search ourselves more closely.If you want a challenging read that will stir your heart, pick up this book.
Paul Washer's love for Christ is so intimate it is almost painful. Such a yearning, such a longing to become more like Christ everyday. Pauls Washer has presented some very important facts about the state of the church, the state of evangelism and he backs every single point with the Word of God. Paul is right when he said there is but one Gospel, the Gospel of Christ. Because of our love for Christ, we will be moved to be obedient to His word. I could sit here and write a complete book review on Washer's book, however what I will say is simply that I felt like I have already been to church reading his book, I was so humbled and moved by his sincere urging. I noticed many have referred to Paul Washer's "hate". What hate? I did not read anything that made me believe that he hated, but that he is urging the church as a whole to get right with God. We do not need a counterfeit gospel. The gospel should not be for sale. Christ freely gave. We are saved by the grace of God, and as Paul pointed out, the gospel of Christ, salvation, atonement, regeneration, holiness, etc. is hardly ever mentioned anymore. What are the people being saved from? And why? We can agree to disagree but the Bible states that it is the word of God. If we cannot trust the scriptures and take them literally, why read them at all? May God continue to bless and use Paul Washer.

I love when a flawed character grows up or not, either way both make for good storytelling. Sometime when we get together in our relationships it’s for a season of lust, but when it’s time for a season of eternity you will know it and baby that is when a romantic story gets really good.I totally enjoyed this story of redemption and forgiveness, G’Orge – Walker did a great job writing this short. In her comedic way the characters will have you laughing and wondering can heaven truly be as different as we ever thought.
That woman was something else. This book was different for me. I would have like to read more. Keep writing!!!
I did not really enjoy this book. It is very short and a little to sexually explicit for me. I was hoping the focus would change but it didn’t. To me this is definitely not a Christian Novel.Very disappointed

HEAVEN CAN BE HELL was an entertaining read. It was not the usual type of book I'm used to reading by this author, but I lived the way she stepped out of her comfort zone and I enjoyed the story just as much as her other books.Heaven definitely called out her pastor-husband, Averic and had this man doing some kinky stuff that made him uncomfortable and question himself when it came to the dos and don'ts of a couple even when said couple is married. It was enjoyable reading how Heaven was able to work her magic but that same magic was also what puts a rift in their relationship.Sometimes Heaven really can be Hell. This book is a mixture of romance with a little humor, while it raised many thought provoking questions about what is and isn't acceptable in a marriage. Kudos Pat!
After such a long wait, I was greatly disappointed! It is not a Christian Novel and the storyline is definitely lacking. Most couples should already know there is nothing wrong with having variety in the marriage bed.This is clearly not her best work, normal style, and not worthy to be in the same category as her other novels. I say, "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Writing something new and different is fine, but it should also measure up and be a good read out of the gate as with her other novels. This book does not measure up at all, and I have read every single one of her books. I am just happy it was free, otherwise, I would have returned it.
I loved this! Comedic flare, lighthearted moments, Aunt Peaches had me hollering and Heaven was a piece of work. The story tickled my funny bone for sure. Heaven came to conquer, but did Averic win? You’ll have to read to find out.

I found lots of useful information which I can incorporate into my daily life. I can really add more beets, kale, spinach, bananas and kiwi to my diet without too much effort. I can make a conscious attempt to use resverstrol, more garlic, and omega 3 on a fairly regular schedule. Exercising will be a harder habit to establish, but I can try one day at a time. I already make a daily " give thanks" timeout. Wish me luck and success, please!
I Like this book for several reasons. One it was something I needed to read. Two, I like the practical and easily laid out principles of the book, you can easily see how doing several of them will not only help you reduce Hypertension but also but yourself in a better position for good health. Natural is always better for me. So this book is a big plus.
Concise, useful approach with a wide range of tools to reduce BP. Doable. Covers nutrition,exercise, supplements, lifestyle changes, essential oils, stress reduction, etc. in lucid terms.
Hypertension can really go from something that is just unpleasant all the way to something massive that can end your life. But taking meds all the time is also horrible. In this book meet the best alternatives you will ever know!
My 2015 Colorado is a fun truck to drive. Gas mileage is not good. I get about 15 mpg. I had a '04 Silverado with a 350 v8 and got 17 mpg. Ordered it with power seats, but there is no memory. I would rather have manual adjustment. There is no garage door opener, a $20k car has an opener. If I set the thermostat at 72 it might drop to67 or 68*, so I turn it up to 73* and it goes up to maybe 75 or76. Dealer says it's normal. My tailgate cables are different lengths, one is loose maybe a 1/4" longer, GM says that's normal. The transmission doesn't know what gear to be in going up hills. I tow it behind my motor home on a dolly. The manual says to leave the steering in the lock off position, in doing this it puts a lot of pressure on the plan. GM says they stand behind this. The dolly manufacturer says that is totally wrong!
This book is concise and to the point. I already following it's advice.

I was initially excited about this book and the prospect of improving my learning, but I found the content to be more suitable for a middle school child than an adult. There were errors and typos that we're clearly obvious, many of which have been pointed out in other reviews. The strategies listed in the later chapters simply will not work for advanced testing in the college setting an vigorous programs do not allow the time commitment that the author's techniques demand. The strategies we're simplistic... write notes and copy them over and over. This is simply not feasible for real-world adult applications. I was truly disappointed when the chapter on improving your reading speeds boiled down to skimming and skipping sections that seemed non-important.*Overall, there may be one or 2 pearls of wisdom here, but this book is more suitable for someone at a 6th grade level of study skills and comprehension. It may be worth the $2.99 for some people, it just was not worth it to me.
The book is ok, but it seems as if the author didn't spend time with the editing of the book. There are quite a few typos in it. Also, the author claims there are 6 sections in the book, but there are actually just 5. The book sections are numbered 1-4, then 6. There is no section 5 as stated. The author left gaps in the book that may be important in the long run, or just didn't bother to edit the changes he made in the book. For a book on accelerated learning, you would have expected a more polished well written book.

But in the end, you will be able to control your destiny.Take the first step and get started.
I thought I was going to look up from the pages to find a camera crew from Punk'd. Somehow I read to chapter 4, but here's an excerpt:"Now let's put these three steps into action. Let's examine these three steps into action. Let's exam each of these techniques in detail, along with concrete example of what they will accomplish for you."
If you are a struggling student in any stage of your life, I would suggest reading this book. It gives general tips on how to study, prep, and take tests. It gives a few good examples but I felt some of it was lacking. I give this 4 stars because I felt that most of it was "word count fillers", also the strategies suggested, I've applied for years... THEY WORK! Great for a refresher though. Because of this I lost interest around chapter 14-16. I did finish reading the book, looking for a little gold nugget, but didn't find it lol.
To me, one of the most useless nonfiction books I've ever read.Luckily I applied what it tries to teach to the very core of it and managed to pseudo-read it in 20 minutes. Should be titled reading for dummies.
Advice to author: tell the reader who you are and try to explain how you are remotely qualified on this subject; don't outsource the book to an overseas ghost writer. It's obvious; proof your book. Spelling and grammar are probably second grade level.Advice to potential buyer: if you do what is suggested in this book it will have the opposite effect of the title.
This book has so many grammatical and spelling errors, it is difficult to take seriously. There are a few good points, but not for anyone that has read anything else in the field of teaching/learning.

This book focuses more on how to get your foot in the door of a great tech company. If you are hoping to get information on the different career paths within tech companies and how suited you could be for the different roles available, then this will not help much. I would say it's a must read for high school students who are considering a tech career, or for people who want to switch to a tech career.
Don't bother with the Kindle version. It is missing pretty much everything that makes the paper version useful (example problems, etc). I don't understand why they would not sell the current edition of the book in Kindle format.
Great an motivational book that lived up to my expectations! I recommend it to anyone who is intrigued by its description and title. The author shares her own stories and perspectives of the hiring process which she's got from working at several top tech companies. The book also provides plenty of concrete tips and pointers to consider for each step of the recruitement process.(TIP: I was originally looking for "the Google Résumé" when I instead found this book. This book is essentially a 2nd edition of "the Google Résumé". Between the two, I chose this one here and I wasn't dissapointed.)
Appreciate Gayle's thorough approach. Definitely recommend for new college grads and those who never worked in tech and are looking for their 1st job in this space. This book is a beast and for me was best used by skipping around to relevant materials. Some of the sections such as resumes, etc. might be common sense but could be useful for others. I work at a top tech company and can say that Gayle is spot on with some of her insights. Found the interview section very useful. Would have appreciated a less dry approach ala Ramit Sethi. But wish it came from the author as she obviously is an expert in this job category.
A good book for someone with a goal to break into the tech industry. Some information is very helpful, but a majority of it can easily be found via Google search.
